Bachata is both a dance and music genre that originates from The Dominican Republic. The style is smooth and sensual, and usually danced in pairs with a leader and a follower. The music often has a romantic touch and can be both slow and fast, which makes the opportunities for bachata dancing endless. Just like the popular dance Salsa, Bachata is danced more and more all over the world.
Everyone is welcome at Copenhagen Bachata! We’ve got dance classes in all levels, for beginners to well-known bachata dancers. Even though Bachata is danced in pairs, you don’t need a partner to sign up. At our classes we make sure everyone has someone to dance with throughout the class. In our classes you will find a mix of all ages, nationalities and genders. We teach in English to make sure everyone understands our guidance and gets most out of our classes.
